These papers principally concern the early years of the PTA in Virginia, and the Virginia Cooperative Education Association which later merged with the PTA. Included is a dissertation by William L. Bowder, "History of the Virginia Cooperative Education Association," 1957 with notes and criticism by Mrs. Semones, "Virginia Educational Trojan Horse," a manuscript by Mrs. Semones, written in 1961, an incomplete draft of manuscript of a novel, "Out of the Mist," by Mrs. Semones and Jennings C. Wise, a photograph of Mrs. Semones, and miscellaneous correspondence.
